As I am going away on holiday next week I wanted to pick up a few magazines to read by the pool and on the plane, sifting through the countless glossy mags on offer I came across Glamour which was rapped in plastic and had a free gift included! You may have guessed from the title but it was the Benefit Gimme Brow, mine is in the shade 5 - deep but they did have the other shades (3 - medium and 1- light) on offer, you would just need to have a hunt around for them.
As soon as I got home I opened the plastic packaging and took the brow gel out of its box to test out, I noticed the packagin says that it has 'VOLUMIZING MICROFIBRES' which I thought was great as that will help thicken the brows as well as darken them. Removing the brush from the container I found that the brush was extra tiny, which I love because I'm used to using the Rimmel 'Brow This Way' brow gel which you can pick up from Superdrug for £3.99. As much as I love the Rimmel brow gel I do find the brush is much too big even for my thick brows and you will generally end up with brown splodges across your forehead, which no one wants. So as I said the brush was tiny which I was very excited about and immideatly wanted to try it out.
When putting this brow gel on I found that it did a good job of brushing through the hairs and coating each one leaving them looking fuller and darker, whilst filling any gaps I had in my brows. I would definitley recommend this product to anyone and you should definitley try and pick one up with the magazine as soon as possible because at £2 it is a steal! I'm even considering buying another as a back up. However, if you don't live in the UK or have access to Glamour before its sell out date then you could pick one up from the Benefit store, the full size is £18.50.
